Marine fuels firm Soyuz Bunkering Group Europe (SBGE) has expanded operations in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region.

It has added a bunker grade to its product portfolio while chartering another bunker barge.

The firm will supply 380 centistokes (cSt) high sulphur fuel oil (HSFO) to vessels from the middle of July.

It is already supplying 380 cSt low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) and low sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) to ships within the ARA.

All bunker grades supplied will meet ISO 8217:2010 specifications, according to the company.

Meanwhile, SBGE has also time chartered a 4,198 metric tonne (mt) capacity bunker barge from operator Dari to supply 380 cSt HSFO product.

The 2010-built Gentle is the third bunker barge chartered by SBGE for operations within the ARA region.

The Soyuz Bunkering Group (SGB), a subsidiary of private investment company Summa Group, started worldwide operations in January.
