This role is a unique opportunity for you to join and lead an experienced, passionate, and successful sales team in Middelfart at Dan-Bunkering, helping to define and shape the future of the department and realise our business potential. This position has become available as we are experiencing expediential growth and our current Sales Manager is taking up a global sales operational position within the organisation, hence the future Sales Manager will report to him.

Today, Dan-Bunkering has more than 100 skilled and dedicated employees stationed in 12 different locations around the world.

Referring to the Senior Vice President of Dan-Bunkering, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations and bringing in new business through well formulated sales and marketing activities, to meet own as well as your team’s targets for growth and profitability. You will lead by example and are expected to be an inspiring leader for the team consisting of 16 Bunker Traders, delivering sales results by converting leads to clients and growing current customer relationships. You will train and mentor your trading team, from youngest to senior trader.

You will furthermore be responsible for the education and shaping of Bunker Traders for the whole Dan-Bunkering organisation. Lastly, you will contribute to the overall sales strategy, ongoing evaluation of performance and growth of the Middelfart office.

We are looking for a natural leader, an entrepreneurial individual and a self-starter who will establish, implement and develop the sales road map. You are enthusiastic, hardworking and commercially driven. In addition, you are a good communicator who can build long- term positive relationships with both our customers and our departments around the world. More specifically you have:

• Business acumen and credibility
• A proven track record and relevant experience within the shipping and bunker industry
• Significant business development and sales experience working at senior level
• Demonstrable ability to identify and bring in large and strategically important accounts
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• A proven track record of leadership and managing teams
