The candidate will be responsible for bunkering and day to day vessel operations.

Job description
Purchase bunker and lubricants for the entire fleet worldwide.
Identify requirements and accurately calculate the grades and quantities needed.
Identify best port for replenishment based on the voyage ahead.
Collect Delivery receipts and invoices and ensure all documentation is in place.
Monitor prices and purchase bunkers in coordination with market movements.
Negotiate terms and conditions.
Handle claims with traders and suppliers.
Keep record of bunker fixtures and demonstrate cost savings for the company.
Coordinate the entire bunker and lube delivery in all ports by communicating with agents and technical managers ensuring timely and cost-efficient supply.
Maintain and create new relationships with bunker and lubricant traders and suppliers worldwide
Maintain speed and consumption data for the entire fleet and ensure best performance of the fleet in close communication with the technical managers and ensure.
Communicate closely with SNP department and guide traders before and after a vessels SNP transaction.
Handle day to day vessel operations and be integral part of operations department

Minimum requirements
1-2 years’ experience in bunkering (trading or operations)
1-2 years’ experience in shipping operations or purchasing
Good understanding of contract terminology
Strong commercial mindset
Persuasive and argumentative
Team player
Fluent in English
Ready to work long hours
