Bunkerworld users can now pick through extensive, independently-collected data and piece together an intelligent picture of the market and its drivers.

Each port now has a variety of sophisticated graphing tools that allows bunker prices to be compared to competing ports, to Bunkerworld price indexes such as the BWI and BW380, and to the price of crude oil.

Trend analysis shows how likely markets are to hold an upward or downward trend, useful for predicting where prices might move in the near future. Comparison of the current price to a moving average adds additional market information.

Prices can also be graphed over 30-day, 3-month or 1-year intervals, or a user-specified period covering several years. Specific prices for all fuel grades going back one full year can now be downloaded.
