31 Dec Puget Sound spill 3 times larger than originally thought
Early estimates were that around 2,000 gallons of fuel oil had been spilled in the area, which has seen spills in the past of well over 200,000 gallons. Latest reports though have indicated that the spill was around three times bigger than originally thought, and occurred when the barge was overfilled.
