Lukoil CEO sees April market balance, warns against overcutting oil output to avoid price hikes
The CEO of Russia's second-largest crude producer Lukoil, Vagit Alekperov, Wednesday warned against overdoing production cuts, saying these could lead to a sharp rise in oil prices, including due to underinvestment in new projects, and called for considering a gradual end to the OPEC/non-OPEC deal after market rebalancing, which he expects in April.
