Market Commentary

  • Fujairah Aug 28 AG Platts was reported to have gone up on 180 cst by $16.31, up on 380 cst by $16.66 and up on MGO by $2.04.
  • Rotterdam Aug 28 BARGE MARKET: (local time)

    17.10 - deals reported at $638. HS offers at $638, bids at $636. LS offers at $660, bids at $653.

    12.10 - HS ex wharf no offers, bids $638. LS ex wharf no offers/bids yet. 11:00 - HS offers at $649, LS no offers.

  • Singapore Aug 28 NYMEX crude gained another $1.88 to close at $116.27 a barrel on Wednesday. Globex is showing some gains.

    06:00pm - Fueloil cargo closed much bullish today by $15-16pmt; Gasoil cargo surged by almost $2.00/BBL. Demand was below average. There are currently some tightness to avails and barge schedule for 380 cst product. Earliest delivery from Sept 5-6 onwards.

    12:00pm - Fueloil paper opened firmer by $10pmt higher while Gasoil paper was talked higher as well by $2.10/BBL.
