    Dear Sir,

I am researching biodiesel distributers in ports around the world since my company would like to switch to biodiesel.
I would like to know if there are any engine modifications needed if B20 or a lower blending is used.
How much of a change would be needed, if the vessels are being fueled with pure biodiesel? I am talking about vessels in the range of 500 to 2000 gross tonnage.
This might be not the right place to ask, but do you know if there is a database of retailers that sell biodiesel in ports wordlwide or something similar?

Thank you very much for your time. With kind regards,

    Lasse Varn.

There are considerations that may inhibit the use of biodiesel on water. We offer a product that is less expensive and performs better than #2 diesel or Biodiesel. If you're interested in learning more, check out our web site at www. wevcobiodiesel.com

biodiesel use has recently been mandated here in the Philippines. My concern is using such for bunkering ships. Should there be reason for concern for biodiesel use in bunkering? thanks.
