    Hi Janet,

I have read your article on how you got into trading crude oil.

Your article got me interested and have read a lot of reviews on crude oil. I'm now interested in trading the commodity - Crude oil.

I would appreciate, if you could help by letting me know how to go about trading. Will also need your suggestion for good brokers so that I could trade in crude oil.

I'm looking to invest a small amount to try it out.

Thank you. Awaiting your response. Have a wonderful day.

    Regards,
    Willis

    Dear Willis,

I am not sure but I think as an individual it will be very hard to trade crude oil because the exchanges require huge variation margins and brokers, when trading OTC require a letter of credit. I might be wrong with that, but I think that at least it won't be easy to trade crude oil as a person without any corporation. I am not an expert, so let us see what other answers we get. If you are interested in talking about the crude oil market and different trading strategies please contact me under my email hanneswolff@gmail.com.

    With best regards,

    Willis,

I would agree with Hannes' comments. You would have to invest a lot of money to margin even a few petroleum futures contracts.

Perhaps there's a commodity fund somewhere which specializes in petroleum?
