    Dear Sir,

    Can you clarify me what is difference between IFO 180 cSt & RME 180 ?

    There is no difference, but RME 180 is a narrower description and refers to specific quality parameters.

    IFO 180 cst tells you that this is an intermediate fuel oil (IFO) with 180 centistoke (cst) viscosity.

    RME 180 is a fuel grade specification under ISO 8217, the international marine fuel standard.

    There is also a RMF 180 found in ISO 8217, alongside other specific grades of marine residual fuels.

    Both RME 180 and RMF 180 are IFOs with 180 cst viscosity.
