Obi, I thought so. Thanks a bunch. It is way too hard finding a legit source to work with. Do you know of any?

What are you looking for? Are you the end buyer?

No, I am not. I am a broker representing 3 different buyers. I am not a mandate either. 2 of the buyers are looking for D2 spot deals, and the 3rd os only interested in contracts. All are cif or fob Rotterdam. The pricing should be reasonable, with at minimum $10 fee spread built in.

    James,

Your position makes it harder. Has your buyers closed oil deals before and are you able to provide documentations. Provide your email address and I will contact you and see how we can move forward

James let me tell you the truth about the spot market. It will be very difficult for you to buy in the spot market because thats where the majors play. Example: Why would a seller wholesale D2 that is in the tank for 20-30% Max. When he could contact one of the majors show pop and get full PLATT maybe with a 5 or 10% discount to the major. Thats why your buyer is going to be waiting a long time before he can buy a spot. Now...let me give you the good news. The trading company I work with don't do spots....but the will do a spot allocation. A spot allocation is when: let say your buyer is looking for 100,000MT what we would do is sell your buyer a 100,000MT x1 with rolls and extensions. Anyone that is dealing with a real seller knows this and those that don't well.....you know the story. The key to getting deals closed is transparency. You don't have to be a Mandate or Authorized Agent (US) to get a deal closed. But.....you have to be close enough to know who the end buyer is RE: Company name Signatory's Name and contact info. If you are working with someone and they don't let you know this information....move on because the deal will not go anywhere. I'm a broker, but I'm direct to the rep for the company. And what I mean by rep is that my contact is employed by the company. And I do have verifying paperwork. If are direct to the buyer contact me and we can take from there.
