We also know Crude is defined by API standards, and that also reveals its inherent characterestics and features.
However, is the Pricing for all kinds of Crudes with varying API gravity, based on a Common parameter/benchmark i.e. Platts based pricing? Does this means a API gravity 32.0 is priced similar as API 39.0, if we are to base on a given platts say ''Geneo Lavera FOB''...the question is how can both these kinds of crude cost the same per platts ??? So how and what method decides the diffference in pricing of different Crudes of varying API Gravity a/a. Further, Where does the boundary/definition of Sweet crudes end and sour crudes begin per API Gravity?
Thank you,
