    Not only bunker costs, but GHG indexing of ships will result in changes to operational practises. Slower speeds would be a logical first step. For newbuilds, improvements in hull design, twin engines/screws; for existing ships, costs of upgrades will be balanced against savings that may be achieved over the remainder of the ship's life.
