Are there any studies that estimate possible black carbon emission reductions through methods such as decreased vessel speed or low-sulfur fuels?

In general terms the the total amount of particulate emission is less when operating on LS fuel.
By reducing the speed and load on the main engine the amount of soot in the stack emission will increase.
Contact me directly and I will send you some documentation.
