We are currently importing fuel oil of 180cst. As of next year we are planning to import 380cst
Our storage tanks are not heated and we need to push the fuel oil through a 6-inch pipeline for a distance of 5Km. The temperature in Seychelles ranges from 21 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees.

I would like your advice on the pumping process i.e. Should it be heated and if so at what optimum temperature ? What must be the pump ratings and other parameters ? If heat is needed, what will be the options and method ? We are also located next to an electrical power plant.
