Using 'My Directory'
Getting Started
Use the address book to save companies, ports and/or personal contacts for easy reference. Once you have created a book, you can download the information for easy access on your personal email or cellphone.
Start by searching on the form above and once you have found what you were looking for click on the desire company, port or person to go to the details page.
You will see an icon on the right hand side that allows you to add contacts into your address books. See image below for more details.
After clicking on the "Add to address book" icon you will see a drop down with the books that you have created. You will then be able to select the book that you wish to save the contact into.
If you have not yet created a book, you will be able to save the contact in the General book (My Companies, My Ports or My Contacts), and optionally move to a more specific book later. The image below highlights this in more detail.
Your address book has three default books : My Companies, My Ports and My Contacts. You can just use these for all entries, or make seperate books to organise as you wish.
My Directory
In this section you can see the different books you have created as well as the content for each of them. Remember you can create books of type : company, port and contacts. You can also download a
book's content to your computer for easy access on your email and cellphone. The following image will give you a better understanding on how to use your directory.
Creating a new book
If you wish to create a book of companies, locate the box that says Companies and then click on this icon
.
You will then see a form that will allow you to give your new book a description. Once you have written a description for your book, press the save button to add it to your address book. You should then be able to see
the new book listed in the box. Next time you want to add a contact, this book will be available in the drop down list.

Editing a book
To edit a book, click on the edit icon of the book you wish to edit (icon located on the right side of each book). A pop up will show up. In this window you can
change the name of your book, delete existing companies and/or move companies from this book to other books. In the following example we will show how to use these functions. Click on each tab below
to see more details on how to delete and move contacts



Deleting a book
To delete a book, click on the delete icon of the book you wish to delete (icon located on the right side of each book). A popup window asking for confirmation will show up. Click "Ok" if you want to remove this book
from your address book or press "Cancel" to close the window and return to your directory.
