1). Barge One (preferably second hand):
Vessel Size: Around 1500 – 2000 DWT
Hull: Must be Double Hull.
Age: Preferably no more than 10 years old.
Type: Self Propelled.
Service Speed: Around 10 knots
Cargo: suitable to carry around 1500 metric tonnes of HFO and 200 metric tonnes of MGO – must be segregated.
LOA: 60 Metres Maximum
Good manoeuvrability
Heating of cargo tanks preferred but not essential.
Accommodation on Barge – preferred but not essential.
2). Barge Two (preferably second hand):
Vessel Size: Around 1000 – 1500 DWT
Hull: Must be Double Hull.
Age: Preferably no more than 10 years old.
Type: Self Propelled or Tug & Tow. If Tug & Tow, will require Tug as well.
Service Speed: Around 10 knots
Cargo: suitable to carry around 1000 metric tonnes of HFO and 100 metric tonnes of MGO – must be segregated.
Good manoeuvrability
Heating of cargo tanks preferred but not essential.
Accommodation on Barge – preferred but not essential.
3). Barge Three (Second Hand or New Build – if prompt delivery):
Vessel Size: Around 1800 – 2000 DWT
Hull: Must be Double Hull.
Age: Preferably no more than 10 years old if second hand, although prompt delivery of a new build will be considered.
Type: Self Propelled.
Service Speed: Around 10 knots
Cargo: suitable to carry around 1800 metric tonnes of HFO and 200 metric tonnes of MGO – must be segregated.
LOA: No specified maximum.
Good manoeuvrability
Heating of cargo tanks preferred but not essential.
Accommodation on Barge – preferred but not essential.
