Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Trader/Broker, skilled in negotiation and committed to excellence in customer service, to join our international team of professionals. The successful applicant must have:

• Proven ability in developing new business, marketing and negotiation (preference will be given to those with experience and contacts in the marine or fuel industry)
• Bilingual – Complete fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
• A team-oriented work ethic
• A quick mind and ability to multi-task with shifting priorities
• Good instinct for people and ability to build and maintain close relationships
• Sound business judgment and long-term strategic thinking
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, cross-culturally
• Tenacious persistence, drive and determination
• A good positive and a high level of professional courtesy
• Ability and willingness to learn new concepts
• Proficiency with common basic computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Availability for frequent travel on short notice; travel is an integral part of successful job performance; may be required to travel to remote or hazardous locations (i.e. docks)
• Ability to relocate if you do not currently reside in Costa Rica

Preference will also be given to those who also have:

• Approximately 10 years related work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc)
