    POSITION LOCATION:

    Regional Headquarters Europe – London, U.K.


    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Global Manager of Marine Lubricants will be responsible for coordinating all marine lubricant marketing and sales world wide. This position will work closely with the existing marine sales force to develop potential customers for contract and spot deals.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Consolidate existing relationships with major and independent oil companies to maximize pricing discounts
    • Creating a valued added services for our lube customers
    • Responsible for the development of contract sales
    • Coordination of spot sales by working closely with Bunker Brokers and Traders on the procurement of one off deliveries of Lubricants
    • Will oversee testing and technical requirements.


    BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

    Required:
    • Minimum 7 years work experience working with a Major Oil Company or large Independent in a Marketing and Sales or Technical role.
    • High level of competency and experience working in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. At ease working in multicultural environment and ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.
    • Exceptional organizational skills – must be task-oriented and be able to work with tight deadlines and multiple details.
    • Complete fluency in English (oral and written).
    • Professional presence and absolute integrity.

    Desirable:
    • A bachelors degree in Marine Engineering or related discipline
    • Experience with international, ideally Europe and Asia
    • Fluency in additional languages
    • Comfortable in fast-paced environments where quick response time is critical
    • Strong organizational skills – must be task oriented and be able to deal promptly with detailed problems.
